Felton to advance digital distribution strategy
SAN FRANCISCO — September 10, 2020 — At-Bay, the insurance company for the digital age, today announced that Kristie Felton has joined the company as Head of Partnerships. She is the latest in a series of senior insurance executives to join At-Bay, with more than 20 years of experience in the industry.
Kristie will spearhead At-Bay’s collaboration with digital distribution partners, including digital broker platforms, enterprise technology companies and professional associations.
“Kristie brings to At-Bay significant experience cultivating specialty insurance growth through traditional and alternative distribution channels,” said Brett Sadoff, Head of Insurance at At-Bay. “Adding an executive of her caliber indicates the commitment we have to developing partnerships and digital distribution as a major pillar of At-Bay’s go-to-market strategy.”
Kristie joins At-Bay after seven years at Hiscox USA, where she most recently served as Head of Alternative Distribution. In this national role, she drove new initiatives for profitable growth through APIs, partnerships and MGAs. Before that, she was Vice President at Liberty International Underwriters, where she oversaw underwriting production with retail and wholesale brokers on the West Coast for over a decade.
“As technology continues to transform the insurance industry, digital platforms will only grow more important,” said Kristie. “My goal at At-Bay is to reduce friction and simplify the insurance buying process through digital distribution channels.”
